Welcome!
One of our frequent commenters at tompeters.com, RTodd, gave us the following challenge: "Where can we share stories of the little guy implementing these concepts? Why doesn't Tom Peters.com create a PSF Wiki where people can share, build, and expand on these 50 items."
We thought that was a fabulous idea. So please, share, build, expand!
Details:
PSF refers to Professional Service Firm. In 1999, Tom Peters published the Reinventing Work Series of 50List books including The PSF50. You'll find a list of the eight main sections of the book below. Simply find a concept of interest and click on the link to lead you to that page. Each page will show first the points that Tom makes in that section of the book and then will give you an opportunity to share your story. There's even a playground at the end where you can create your own pages or have PSF-related discussions that you don't think fit elsewhere.

Please keep in mind that this is a public wiki and we're giving you complete freedom (which could result in unintentional erasure of others' work), so please be mindful of that as you work. Don't forget to place your name or initials with your contribution!

The "PSF50"*

A PSF has talent, clients, and projects, period! We treat all three portfolios the way a venture capitalist would treat an investment. We work systematically to ramp up the quality. The higher the quality, the better the business.

A PSF has a clear vision, a distinct identity, and a shared passion for achieving great things! We seek to have impact, on our clients, and on their business performance. We are masters of the art of balance; provocation with service, quirkiness with professionalism, performing arts with performance improvement!

PSFs exist to serve clients. Our clients are the focus of all we do. We work to know, involve, engage and educate our clients. Clients evaluate our people and our projects, and determine our success. It's a journey with every client from dependence to independence.

PSFs are hot places to work. Our clients expect us to perform, and the whole business, our work place, our methodologies and all our people, are focused on getting the work done. We work hard, have fun, and are well rewarded.

PSFs trade their intellectual capital. We exploit every opportunity to research new ideas and develop new methodologies. Our success depends on being distinctive and exploiting every possible source of competitive advantage.
PSF means professional, and professional means talent. PSF success means best talent. It's as simple as that. We attract, challenge, nurture, deploy, remix, retrain, redeploy, and churn our talent. We make heroes of our project champions, and our success lies in their stories.

We have made it as a PSF when it feels like a great business and feels like it's ours. We are in charge, we set the standards of Wow!, impact, beauty, and distinction, and we love it!

We'd love to hear your contributions to any of the subjects above. But if you'd like to raise issues or challenges surrounding PSF that don't seem to fit in any of the sections above, please create your own page and insert it below.
